I get a kick out of chickens. They inspire me. This colorful rug hooked hen sculpture is a wonderful way to add a bit of country living to your life. This perky little hen has a blue rug hooked head and neck and an earth tone body and tail. Her wings have been rug hooked separately in matching earth tone with a blue band on the outer edge. Her eyes are needle felted in gold with a black center. Her beak, comb and wattle are felt. She stands 12" high and is 11" long. The wooden base measures 2" high and 12" long. The sculpture is mounted on dowels that are drilled and glued into both the base and the body form, making a stable piece.
